About the books

What arrives when you buy, and what is inside.

What exactly do I get when I buy a book?
A digital download — no parcel, no shipping, nothing to wait for. You get PDF files that you print yourself. Most books come as two PDFs of the same pages: one sized for A4 paper and one for US Letter, so you can use whichever your printer takes. The Coloring Book Bundle is five separate A4 PDFs, one per book. Your download links appear in your Etsy purchases as soon as payment clears, and Etsy emails them to you as well.
Which languages are the books in?
There are three kinds of book: Arabic only (My First Arabic Letters), English only (the tracing, numbers, drawing and coloring books), and bilingual Arabic & English where every instruction is written in both languages (My Body, My Family & My Home, My Kindergarten & Me). Every product page lists its languages, and the Shop page has a language filter. Arabic pages are written without full vowel marks so early readers are not crowded out.
Do the books go with your YouTube songs?
Many of them do. Several books grew out of a Kidzaneen song, so you can watch the video together first and then play with the pages. Product pages that have a matching song show it under Watch with your child.
Are the pages all in colour?
Most books mix the two on purpose: bright colour pages for covers, charts and certificates to keep your child motivated, and clean black-and-white pages for tracing, counting and coloring so everyday printing costs very little ink.
Will the pages come as a finished book?
No — you get printable files. You can print single sheets as you need them, or print the whole pack, put the pages in order and staple or clip them into a booklet. Each book has a cover page and a certificate to make it feel like a real book.

Choosing the right age

How the age labels work and what to do when your child sits between two.

What do the ages on each book mean?
Every book shows the age range it was designed for — for example 3–5 or 3–8 — and the Shop can be filtered by age band: 0–2, 3–5, 6–8 and 9–12. The range describes the skills the pages ask for (holding a pencil, recognising letters, counting to 20, writing a sentence), not a rule about who is allowed to use it.
My child sits between two ages. Which should I choose?
Pick the younger range and print a few extra pages. A page a child finishes easily is a confidence win, while a page that fights back every day usually ends up in the bin. You can always move up later — and printing means you can start with two or three pages instead of the whole pack.
Can an older child use a book marked for younger kids?
Yes, and several books are built for exactly that. The Coloring Book Bundle has two levels on purpose: big thick-line shapes for ages 3–5 and detailed scenes for ages 6–8. Older children who are still building pencil control often enjoy the simpler pages too.
What if the book turns out too hard or too easy?
Skip pages freely — nothing has to be done in order. Print only the section that fits your child today and leave the rest for next term. If you are not sure, tell us your child's age and what they enjoy on the contact page and we'll point you at the right pages.
My child is one of a pair with different ages.
Printing works well here: you can print the same book twice, or print different pages for each child and keep them in separate folders. One purchase covers your home.

Printing at home

Settings, paper, ink and how to make the pages last.

What do I need to print?
Any home printer — inkjet or laser — plain white paper in A4 or US Letter, and any PDF reader (your web browser opens PDFs fine). No special app, no subscription, no cutting machine needed.
Which print settings give the best result?
Open the PDF and set the size to 100% / “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”, so the tracing lines and letter boxes keep their intended size. Choose portrait, pick the paper size that matches the file (A4 or Letter), and print single-sided the first time. On iPhone or Mac the setting is under Scale → 100%; on Windows it is Page Sizing → Actual Size.
Colour or black and white?
Use colour for the cover, charts, certificates and matching games — they carry the motivation. Print tracing, writing and coloring pages in greyscale: they are designed to look good without ink, and your cartridges will thank you.
Can I print only some of the pages?
Yes. In the print box, type the page numbers you want (for example 1, 3–8) instead of “All”. That is the cheapest way to try a book, and it is why the packs are organised into short sections.
How do I make the pages last longer?
Slide a single page into a clear document sleeve or a laminating pouch and your child can redo it with a dry-erase marker, then wipe it clean. Cut-out cards and mazes last far longer once laminated. Alternatively print double-sided and staple the pages into a booklet so nothing gets lost.
Can I print the same book again for a sibling or my class?
Each listing states what its licence covers — some are for personal use, others for personal and single-classroom use. Within that use you can reprint as many times as you like at home. Please don't share the files with other families or resell them.
My download link didn't arrive, or the file won't open.
First check your Etsy Purchases — the files are always listed there, and Etsy can re-send the email. If a file still won't open, tell us which book and what happened on the contact page and we'll sort it out.

Before you buy

Previewing pages, privacy and custom requests.

Can I see the pages before paying?
Every product page shows sample pages along with the age range, page count, languages and price. Open any card in the Shop to look inside first.
Do you need my child's name or age?
No. You buy as an adult, payment is handled by Etsy, and we never ask for your child's name, age or photo. Please leave those out of any message you send us too.
Can you make a book on a topic I can't find?
Very likely, yes — the shop is small on purpose and every book is made by hand. Write to us from the contact page with the topic, your child's age and the language you want, and tell us if you are a parent or a teacher.
Is there a physical version?
Not at the moment. Everything is a digital download you print yourself, which is what keeps the books inexpensive and lets you reprint a page whenever it gets scribbled on.
